Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

Irritable Bowel Syndrome absolutely affects the quality of life of a person, i.e. integrally affects, and is especially dangerous because it can be confused with more serious illnesses. Before it was called irritable colon, but experts have sought to give the term more accurately after discovering that it is a general inflammation of the intestine, including the colon. The most common symptom is pain in the abdomen, associated with changes in the patient’s stool patterns, or whether the person may have constipation or diarrhea. Also often a strained stomach, which in simple words is just inflator in the stomach.
At the same time, the patient may suffer from migraine headaches, body aches and general tiredness, so that the syndrome can “throw” the patient, as popularly said.
And as the disease affects the large intestine, it is normal to think that its origin lies in a poor diet or the abuse of certain foods or drinks, but nothing is further from the truth. The syndrome is related to anxiety disorders or depression, people who know very apprehensive digest well the tensions, even as those who live under high stress levels, so we’re seeing in children, because now they are asking too much, the poor have to speak 3 languages and be champions in 4 activities simultaneously. The disease is affecting women more than men, especially women under 45 years.
The syndrome is controlled but not cured, through the use of different drugs that regulate digestion, gas production, and that speed antispasmodics bowels lazy. It is also used drugs to relieve the pain. If the swelling and discomfort do not give four to six weeks after starting treatment, it is best to use a series of more detailed examinations, such as a colonoscopy, it could be that it was confusing the syndrome with more severe disease, as colon cancer. The food may worsen the clinical picture but no chance; so for example, who suffers from Irritable Bowel Syndrome is most likely feel worse from eating fat or irritating condiments.
Disease is common to find whole families, without this one can speak of a genetic or hereditary, but rather how an individual learns, as he sees in his house since childhood, to handle problems or the moment’s voltage. It is a lifestyle issue rather than a problem of poor nutrition, hence the symptoms improve when you do more exercise, or reserve time to relax, or was preparing to sleep more and better, and feeds. Ideally, the patient receives counseling on a par with drug treatment for the syndrome into remission, but never can be said that becomes eradicated or cured.
Some people find with stress management and reduction, as well as a careful diet the symptoms may disappear completely however the underlying syndrom is still present.
Also, I think that it is not a 100% life sytle issue, some people are diagnosed with IBS after an stomach virus, food poisoning or after taking anti-botics.
